Enable Hibernate Mode On Windows

When you walk away from your computer for just a while, you might not want to shut it completely down. Therefore, the developers have made some modes that users can set their computers on, in order to save a little power, like sleep and hibernate.
Based on how long you're gonna be away for, you will choose the mode accordingly. Sleeping mode is for short breaks, and one should choose hibernate when they are going away for quite a while. What hibernate basically does is to save everything you're doing on the harddisk and shut the computer down.
Then when you turn on the pc again, it loads up everything, returning your computer back to the state before it has shut down. Unfortunately, windows 8 users might have noticed that the hibernate option is missing when they click the power button.
It is like that by default in windows 8, but you can get back the hibernate function by following our instructions below.
1. Click the battery icon on the lower right corner.
2. Then click "More power options".
3. On the left panel, click "Choose what the power buttons do".
4. Now click "Change settings that are currently unavailable".
5. Scroll down to the section of "Power options settings" and check the box next to "Show Hibernate".
